I changed my iPhone 11 Pro to 13 pro max, mostly because of its camera. I guess it was my best purchase. The photographs look like they were taken with a professional camera. I can literally make films with it. And the night mode is just incredible. As you might guess, I really like to take photos, but I often smash my phone. When it happens, I repair it here, https://www.allrepair.fr/. My friend got the 12 pro max, and he says that there's no difference, even in camera. I don't really understand that. The difference in image quality is obvious, Imo.
