The year is 1983 & U2 drops one of my fav albums of all time. This song & New Year's day get serious rotation in my home. It's off their third album, War, and it went up to #7 on the pop charts that year. In my opinion, this is one of the best ballads of all-time. Nothing in the 80's & 90's came close to this. This was played in high society places as well as in the ghetto. George is one of the best singers ever. It was the # 1 song of 1984.
