Two weeks ago Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa was the center of attention when reports began to pour in that the "Black & Yellow" rapper secretly wed his girlfriend Amber Rose. The couple dimissed the reports simply stating they were tuxed up and dressed up to celebrate Wiz's birthday with some of his good friends. Wiz recently unveiled footage from his magical weekend that shows him and members of the Taylor Gang preparing for a night of fun-filled action in Sin City. Throughout hanging with his crew, Wiz managed to get some work done laying his infamous bars in the booth and getting a little private time with his boo, Amber. Following the release of the questionable photos that looked eerily similar to a wedding party taken during his birthday weekend in Vegas, a rep from Wiz's camp dismissed any signs of a marriage. After the photo hit the Net, a source close to the couple told MTV News on Monday (September 12) that the couple did not get married during their Las Vegas trip late last week. Instead, the Rolling Papers rapper simply wanted to celebrate his birthday last Thursday by dressing up — he in a black tux, her in a white dress. A representative from the Clark County Recorder's Office in Las Vegas also confirmed that there is no record of a marriage between the two. The pair have recently discussed getting hitched, however. While on the black carpet at MTV's 2011 Video Music Awards, Wiz and Rose spoke to MTV News about their plans to eventually tie the knot. "Oh yeah, absolutely, man; it's gonna happen," Wiz said. "Like we said, we're just gonna do what's natural and not let any pressure [get to us], because even [with] the word of it happening, people are like, 'You guys need to get married now,' " Khalifa explained. "It's gonna happen; my baby knows I love her. I'm committed and she's committed, so we're just gonna make it happen." "We discuss it all the time. As a general rule, I really try hard to avoid seeing movie trailers. They're just so spoiler-y these days! Most people love them, but I don't like the fact that I often see all the good scenes before I see the actual movie. But every now and again someone crafts a more artful trailer that does the job of piquing my curiosity perfectly. The new teaser for "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/469428/moviemain.jhtml"]J. Edgar[/url]" is a fine example. [url="http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/wb/jedgar/"][img]http://moviesblog.mtv.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/jedgar.jpg[/img][/url] The director/star combo of [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/78111/personmain.jhtml"]Clint Eastwood[/url] and [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/16710/personmain.jhtml"]Leonardo DiCaprio[/url] is intriguing but since I'm not a U.S. history buff, the story of FBI founder J. Edgar Hoover is less so. But now that I've seen the trailer I'm totally hooked! It's artsy, stylized, features shots of all the principal cast members, and is beautifully scored. In other words, it's total award season bait. A brown-eyed DiCaprio as J. Edgar provides most of the narrative via voice over. "When morals decline and good men do nothing, evil flourishes," he begins, his voice speaking over a scene of an explosion being triggered in the living room of wealthy home. "A society unwilling to learn from the past, is doomed," he continues, over clips of the civil rights and war protests. "We must never forget our history. We must never lower our guard." From here on out, the trailer covers more of the action and drama of the film, Hoover's formation of the FBI, his appointment of rumored lover Clyde Tolson (played by [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/452190/personmain.jhtml"]Armie Hammer[/url]), his relationship with his mother (Judi Dench) and hints at a professional and personal downfall. "It's time this generation learned the difference between villain and hero," a visibly aged DiCarprio as Hoover says at the end. "Even great men can be corrupted." Things were looking pretty dark when the “One Wish” singer called into Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Show” morning program to rant about a supposed-scuffle that he and Fab got into over the weekend in Las Vegas. "Ni--as sayin Ray J got beat up? I'll sock that ni--a in his face again my ni--a" Ray J screamed over the airwaves. "All i'm saying if you got Fab’s number tell that ni--a to send a picture of his face right now." When Fab called into DJ Clue’s NY radio show on Monday night, he told a slightly different tale. "It was no fight, it was no swing" said Fab. "This whole story that he made up, that Tupac rant about him swinging on somebody and all of that s--t is all lies. Its all, high on coke, on that Whitney. That's all on that Whitney last night. Ain't no swings take place." Well Ray J has since apologized to his fans over Twitter and things have no seemed to calm down. Kelly What was supposed to be one of music’s biggest events became—well, one of music biggest beefs. After Jay-Z and R. Most recently The Queen Bee caught feelings over the way she was portrayed in the 2009 Biggie biopic “Notorious.” She took issue with not only B.I.G.’s mother, but also blamed Faith for what she believed to be a negative portrayal of her in the film. By Rob Markman After celebrating the one-year anniversary of "RapFix Live" in grand fashion, MTV News' live hip-hop show returns for year two with Freeway on Wednesday. Last week, Lloyd Banks, Maino, Diplomats capo Jim Jones, Consequence, the Outlawz, Reek Da Villian, Superstar Jay and DJ Love Dinero all crashed the couch and toasted to "RapFix Live" and the year that was. Now, Philadelphia MC Freeway will set off year two. In 2003, Free dropped his debut album on Roc-A-Fella Records and, in the label's heyday, stood as one of the Roc's most loyal soldiers. Through his career, Philly Freezer has earned a rep as one of the game's most-skilled spitters, going head-to-head with rappers like Cassidy and Jaz-O. Post-Roc-A-Fella, the State Property MC carried on, releasing his sophomore album, Free At Last (though the record technically came out on the Roc, Jay-Z and Damon Dash had long disbanded), as well as a number of critically acclaimed independent projects like The Stimulus Package with producer Jake One. While a Roc reunion is highly unlikely, Freeway and his State Property brothers came together for a concert this past July and are now planning a comeback project. "When we got together, we had our meeting, our initial conversation about doing what we thought was necessary for us and for music, for everybody's careers as State Property the group and solo careers," Beanie Sigel said when he appeared on "RapFix Live" in July.
