I couldn't be bothered learning how to use the thing... it seemed more complicated than necessary and overloaded with an abundance of annoyingly reinvented gadgetry. I personally think it should be banned for being so irritating.
The politics I know nothing of and I haven't read the article but the lack of ability to delete your information is no worse that not being able to delete your posts on BK... and at times, that's pretty bad
Of course those bad people over at facebook want to steal your soul and empty your bank account... but then who doesn't these days.

Interesting topic! I'm against totally. I'd opt for being an outcast living in a hedge before I'd agree to having one implanted. The pros for this kind of thing would be fine if there was absolutely no possibility of it being used to take away free choice. Knowing how power is corrupt I frankly cant see that it would be used only for good.
Recent 4 part documentary series called "Visions of the Future" shown on tv here, touched on similar things. Well worth watching if you get a chance.

the view counts thing seems to be not updating for a couple of hours? All those zeros makes the board look dead when it isn't. Also isn't very encouraging for people posting topics if they think nobodys interested enough to read what they post.
