'My Pet Dinosaur' Trailer Is Totally Not Just 'E.T.' With a Dinosaur (It Totally Is)

It's hard to see a movie about neighborhood kids trying to hide something supernatural from their parents and not think of E.T.  Three decades later and the second we see a batch of kids moving around dimly lit woods or hiding things in their closet we immediately think of Elliott and his new, wrinkly friend. That's just the power of Spielberg. The Spielberg shadow isn't just cast on American movies, either. It reaches all the way around the world, as you can so readily tell from the first trailer for the Australian movie My Pet Dinosaur. We don't even need to give you a plot on this one.
