Just saw this band Seven Day Sonnet at the Sevendust show… hadn't heard them before, but the drummer was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!

So I just heard about the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love and it looks pretty good! Steve Carell is hilarious I'm looking forward to seeing it :) One of the movie promos has Airborne Toxic Event's "Changing", which got me so hooked to the band and now absolutely I love them. Check it out:

lets not forget what Joshua Redman is doing these days... He just played a show at the Blue Note with the Bad Plus which I heard was fantastic and his Elastic band he was playing with was on fire! Brian Blade is the dirtiest drummer out there!

hey all-- just came across this contest that a musician, david garrett is doing. its a geocaching contest.. which is cool in itself, but i thought it was particularly interesting that a young musician was doing this.. it's on his facebook page. facebook.com/davidgarrettofficial.
