  1. Rapper Lil' Jon is furious with his Yeah! collaborator Usher, because he feels the R&B star claimed all the credit for the song. According to reports, Jon - who produced and performed on the number one track - is bitter all the glory was heaped on Usher after the tune topped the charts. A source tells website Pagesix.com, "Lil' Jon seriously hates Usher. "He feels like he was responsible for the success of Yeah!, which he was. He produced the song and sang on it. He likes to mock Usher by saying his name in a little high voice and calls him Baby Usher." Photo Copyright Getty Images Copyright World Entertainment News Network 2004
  2. Rockers Linkin Park have launched their own charity to raise funds for survivors of the Asian tsunami. The "In The End" band has set up Music For Relief in conjunction with the American Red Cross, kick starting funds with their own donation of $100,000. Guitarist Brad Nelson says, "As a band, we were in a position to help, but this needs to be a lot broader effort - both by our fans and by other musicians. If one of our fans can donate $10, then that's going to help, and the faster we can do it, the better." "Here in the States, we might not think that we're directly affected by all this, but we can help. And the more we can do, and the quicker we can do it, the more lives we can save. Obviously, there's been a horrendous, unparalleled loss of life. But a lot more people are going to die from being homeless and the problems with the water and diseases. The whole thing is really a race against time." "We don't have a specific monetary goal right now." "But we hope that anyone and everyone who can help will. We hope people will contribute what they can, because we can really save lives." Over 80,000 people have been killed by the tsunami which struck Indian Ocean locations in Asia. 4. A Chicago man who threatened to go public with videotapes he claimed featured the troubled soul star R. Kelly having sex with a professional athlete's wife has been charged with extortion. Derrick Mosley was also charged with operating a scheme to defraud upon arrest Monday. The people allegedly appearing in and connected to the sex tape weren't identified in the criminal complaint against Mosley, although news networks in the Chicago area are naming Kelly as the man featured on the video. The trouble for Mosley began at the beginning of the month when he approached the agent for the unnamed athlete, Rufus Williams, with his claims. In an affidavit obtained by music industry trade paper Billboard, Mosley, claiming to be a community minister, stated "he was very upset and concerned about the tapes", and "he wished to speak to Individual A (the wife) about reform and her moral standing." Williams reported the telephone call to the FBI. The FBI affidavit does not make it clear as to whether the videotapes actually existed or whether Mosley's alleged remarks might have been part of a bluff. On November 11, Mosley called Williams and said he wanted $20,000 immediately, according to the affidavit. Copyright World Entertainment News Network 2004
  5. United Press International Eminem's 'Encore' tops The Billboard 200, even though it was legitimately available for just three days during the sales week, Billboard said Wednesday. Released Friday to head off piracy, 'Encore' sold 711,000 copies through Sunday, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Albums typically hit retail stores on Tuesday. Following her appearance in the Nov. 9 broadcast of the Country Music Association Awards, Shania Twain hit the chart at No. 2 on sales of 530,000 copies of her first Greatest Hits album. Toby Keith, who also performed on the CMA show, took No. 3 on sales of 435,000 Greatest Hits 2 sets, while Britney Spears' 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative,' her first album not to open at No. 1 on the 200, is No. 4. Rounding out the top five is last week's chart-topping 17th installment of 'NOW That's What I Call Music!'
