  1. Cool, thanks for all your support. :D When I finally finish my newest track, I'll be sure to post about it here as well. I'm attempting something a tad different with this one in terms of construction, but I'll be going back to a more traditional construction of Trance/DnB after this one. I'm pretty much just about finished producing it at this point, just need to finish up with some last minute touch-ups and get the editting process started (that part shouldn't take too much time... I think)
  2. Hey everyone, I'm Frozen IceCube. I'm an artist that has been working on general electronica (trance and Drum N' Bass mostly) since about 2005. I, of course, write file-sharing news currently on ZeroPaid, and have made clear that I support the overall file-sharing movement. It's sometimes seen as a little strange to some for an artist to support file-sharing, but I also recognize I'm far from alone on these views from an artistic perspective. So, as I get loads of music from file-sharing and free music sources, I thought I'd do my part to contribute back to the file-sharing community by producing my own music for others to enjoy. I'd like to extend the opportunity for music fans here on BeatKing as well. So, you can check out music I produced on eMule. Of course, if you don't have eMule, you can just as easily download it off of my official home page here. I release the music under a Creative Commons license, so you most certainly have my permission (and I fully encourage it) to help spread elsewhere like on file-sharing networks. I'm currently working on a pair of tracks as well, but I haven't decided on a name for both. While they are roughly finished for now, I'm still working on the final steps of protuction and post-production as well as editting. 99% of the music is encoded in nice high quality 320kb/s MP3's, though if you like, I can also release lossless format on request (which seems to be popular with private BitTorrent website users) The program I use also has a 32-bit Wav float (I'm told that's HD audio format), though unfortunately, some audio players, burners and compressors/encoders won't recognize it. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the free music. Feedback is also welcome of course. :)
