For all the negative press she gets it's hard to see but I think you're right. I was out and about doing some Christmas shopping recently and heard Gimmie More over the sound system and it got me toe tappin. Granted, it's venue was a trendy boutique which is complimentary to that style of music but still. She's an easy target for sure these days but what I've heard thus far from her latest album is pretty good.

Admittedly, I'm not a big Spears fan but I just saw this video/heard the song yesterday and call me crazy but there's a hint of the Britney of yesteryear in there. Sorta. I really can't believe I'm saying it but I listened to it a good three times just to be sure and caught myself humming it this morning. I'm a little freaked.

Just discovered this recently. Apparently it's a new thing Gamefly is doing but, long story short, they're offering five free mp3 downloads a month for members. Surprisingly too, the song selections are pretty good. Okay, first off hello. This is my first post to the forum. I didn't see an official "intro" section so I figured I'd just go for it and throw a question out there that's probably extremely unlikely will ever get an answer. But hey, you never know? The world is a strange and mysterious place. So, here it goes. I was at the Knitting Factory in New York this past Friday the 14th for the Wu Tang show. There was a young guy spinning pre-show that was pretty damn good and I cannot, for the life of me, find out who he was. I checked the KF web site but there's nothing and I didn't think to start asking until the next day. Yes, I know. Stupid. Anyway, on the random off chance anyone happened to be at that show or just know who I'm talking about and could clue me in that would be swell. In the meantime I'm looking forward to getting to know the forum. This is definitely one of the better ones I've come across. Thanks!
