Thank you everybody for your help. Kooperman, "Anything goes" by Cole Porter seems almost the perfect song i am looking for. The lyrics of this song are exactly what i am looking for, especially "the world's gone mad" so thank you. Redneck4sure, which album is The Drifters - The World is Changing from? I would like to check it out. Also, i have heard that Zager & Evans song before - the year 2525 - its a very good song. If anyone else knows any more songs about a changing/changed/different world then please feel free to reply.

Hello, I am wondering if there are any songs from this era (maybe Ray Charles or similar in style) that are about a changing world (changing technology in particular). I want to use it as theme music for a small school project. Thanks
