  1. BUZZ IS BACK! On Friday, September 21, 2007, Buzzlife Productions and Fur Nightclub will join forces to create a new home for BUZZ, Washington DC’s legendary Friday night event. We cordially invite you to be a part of history in the making as we enter an exciting new era of Capitol Intensive Clubbing. Our goal is to continue to raise the bar and to set the standard in nightlife experiences. We will be booking the hottest, freshest and most forward-thinking electronic dance music artists. Our belief is that music is only one piece of the puzzle, creating an intense visual experience is nearly as important. We will host nationally acclaimed video-animators, decor installation experts, hand picked dancers and performance artists to create an atmosphere that must be experienced first-hand. Buzzlife's philosophy is that YOU are the most important part of the party. You are strongly encouraged to express your individuality through fashion, costume and attitude; creatively adding to the visual excitement of what we call BUZZ. MOBY In these days of fly-by-night musicians, Moby is somewhat of an anomaly. His first solo release, Go (voted one of Rolling Stone's top 200 records of all time), was released in 1991. In the ensuing 16 years he has had what is arguably the strangest career in contemporary music. He has made dance records and rock records and ambient records and heavy metal records. Buzzlife is honored to have him grace the decks at Fur nightclub to kick off a new era in Capitol Intensive Clubbing. SANDER VAN DOORN Sander Van Doorn has come a long way in short time. In June 2007 Sander radio history by being the first Dutchman to host an entire show on BBC Radio 1. He has rapidly raised the ranks of DJ Mag’s Top 100 and is currently an impressive #32. If you don’t know what all the fuss is about, you are about to find out. SCOTT HENRY You know him, you love him, he is playing outside. What more do you need? 2. A BIG hello and exciting news from Buzzlife Productions to the underground dance community: It has been nearly a year since the Buzz/Nation Closing Party last July when I last had the opportunity to reach out to our community. During this time, we have had the opportunity to bring DC such artists such as John Digweed, MSTRKRFT, Grandmaster Flash, Hybrid, John B, Lee Coombs and others. We have worked with venues such as the infamous 930 Club, Avenue, Five, R&R Lounge and The Rock & Roll Hotel. I am writing to tell you that Buzzlife has been invited to participate in this year’s Virgin Festival dance tent. We are completely blown away by this invitation. The two-day 2007 Virgin Festival will take place at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore on August 4th and 5th. The Virgin Festival, much like Buzzlife itself, is strongly committed to the dance music community. They have put together a lineup unlike any other the mid-Atlantic has seen in years: Sasha & Digweed, LCD Soundsystem, Danny Tenaglia, Infected Mushroom, Miguel Migs, Sander Van Doorn, Dieselboy vs Andy C, and much MORE! (Full lineup, including bands, listed below) These superstars will be showcased in the manner they deserve. Inside the massive dance tent, there will be unparalleled sound, state-of-the-art lights and video, and a few Buzzlife surprises to help ensure this event will be unforgettable. In addition to the tent, there will be great music presented on the outdoor stages and plenty of other interesting attractions on site. It is very rare that I write to you personally to announce a show, so I am sure you can sense my excitement. I hope you are as excited as I am. Check out http://www.buzzlife.com and http://www.virginfestival.com for more info and make sure you get your tickets early before they sell out!
