  1. I'll be spending the weekend recovering. I just got back from statewide training for my job this afternoon. I drove 400 miles in 2 days and I have to work on Monday, but I did have about as good of a time as anyone can when they try to cram loads of information into 2 eight hour days. I love the little towns I got to see and my cottage. :) www.callawayonline.com

Yay Congrats Potato! Have a great one.

  3. Apparently, National Geographic filmed a special documentary for a larger than average size Hog (giant 12 feet long and 800lbs) that was discovered in Alapha, GA last year. It appears the hog had escaped people for quite sometime until it was shot and killed. Read more here: Hogzilla is Real!

Red, it's about time you captured that thing. ;) I apologize to any vegitarians on the board. It's actually a shame it was shot.

  4. Hey I have to interject here. I love the 80's. It was part of my child hood. For me there were a lot of unique things that came about during the 80's. The crazy hair, the jelly braclets that had no other implied meaning except friendship. The crazy outfits that looked like dresses but had shorts underneath. Man how I loved to crimp my hair. I just thought that was the coolest thing. The cartoons were even better than what my little sister watches now. It seems now that people don't really want to go all out and try things anymore. But thats just IMO.

  5. hanson.jpgHey check this out fellow BKers.

Hanson is coming to Ga State University to promote Indie Record Labels.

"Hanson believes there is something college students need to know-- that there is a whole lot of good music out there that corporate record labels are keeping from eager audiences. Hanson places the blame on the giant music conglomerates that are allegedly more concerned about the bottom line than the music on the disc. Hanson’s sees its newfound purpose as promoting music as an art form rather than a planned product for distribution to the masses."

  6. Finally, Flag Pole Magazine Reviews Gabriel Young!

    GABRIEL YOUNG

    Sidewalks & Dirt Roads

    Independent Release

    Erik Hinds

To clear things up, Madison County's Gabriel Young is not one person's name. It's Peter Gabriel Zorbanos and Kalen Young Nash, and they're making quite a noise in the local scene and beyond. Read more of the review here.
