  1. Damn, Matt. I was just getting used to you being back too. Been a while to throw some good artists back and forth. A friend of the P2P community did the same thing a few years back by leaving the forums. Unfortunately, he doesn't work. I guess posting was just too labor intensive also. He also placed a timer that shuts his browser down so he doesn't "over-surf."

Will miss your presence. Take care.

  2. While I could care less for either team this year, I have greater hate for the Steelers as they somehow vanquished San Diego.

Nothing about the thread title indicates this to be a pro-Steelers thread.

    Go Cardinals!!

  3. Been a fan since at least 1991's Arise. Was big into them during the Chaos A.D.. The "new guy" Derrick has been with the band over 10 years. I saw them in the past 5 years in LA, I think it was during the Roorback tour. Was a great show. Derrick is a monster, well over 6 feet tall.

    Awesome band, though.

  4. lol@ Farmers Group (#4 worst). My previous employer. Considering I'd done nearly 9 years with them, I thought it was a pretty good run. 'Course that ended almost 5 years ago. The final year could have been better, but that was partially due to my inexperience in a new position. Other than that, the company did pretty darn well. Hell, at least they were a M-F job, unlike this crap I'm doing now. But then again, this crap isn't on the bottom 50. Yay!

  5. NEW YORK – Eartha Kitt, the self-proclaimed "sex kitten" whose sultry voice and catlike purr attracted fans even as she neared 80, has died. The singer, dancer and actress was 81.

Family spokesman Andrew Freedman said Kitt, who was recently treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, died Thursday in Connecticut of colon cancer.

Dubbed the "most exciting woman in the world" by Orson Welles, Kitt's career spanned six decades, from her start as a dancer with the famed Katherine Dunham troupe to cabarets and acting and singing on stage, in movies and on television.

She won two Emmys, and was also nominated for several Tonys and two Grammys.

  6. LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Rock guitarist Joe Satriani has sued British band Coldplay, accusing the Grammy-nominated stars of plagiarizing one of his songs.

Satriani's copyright infringement suit, filed on Thursday in Los Angeles federal court, claims the Coldplay song "Viva La Vida" incorporates "substantial original portions" of his 2004 instrumental "If I Could Fly."

The 52-year-old guitar virtuoso is seeking a jury trial, damages and "any and all profits" attributable to the alleged copyright infringement.
