At the risk of being chastised for wandering completely off-topic, I just have to comment on RAINBOWDEMONS avatar. That's the funniest thing I've seen in quite some time!(I don't get out much).
Tell me....is that your hand, or did you use a stunt-double? :D

Me again.
The song has been found for me. It's by Brenda Lee and is called:
Losing You (1963)
I think it's a great recording and, if you're interested, someone has it posted on youTube:

Hi Kooperman.
Thanks for the speedy response. However, I'm familiar with the song SAILOR and although it does indeed include a lyric about the turning tide, it's not the tune I'm searching for.
The Petula Clark clue may turn out to be a 'red herring', but the song in question is a Ballad style that she does so well. As you say...not much to work with!
Thanks again for your efforts.

Hi :) .
I've been searching for a song which I believe may be a Petula Clark recording. I'm pretty sure it dates from the early 1960's. One line in the song goes something like this:
"Just like the tide, you're changing"
Perhaps I'm mistaken and this is not a petula clark song.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The Four Seasons - Mystery TV Appearance

Hi :D
You folks might be familiar with this interesting re-mix/re-edit of the Four Season's BEGGIN.
I'm pretty sure the footage of the band included in this video shows them performing another song, and NOT Beggin. Am I right?
I'd love to know which song they're performing, but I've not found a match yet.
Cheers
