  1. Hey. Wish there was a "music general" forum in which to post this, because I can't seem to find the ideal section. Anyway. I'm looking very specifically for albums that are experimental BUT still boast actual songs (with hooks, verses, choruses, etc.). So please don't go Brian Eno or Godspeed You Black Emperor on me ;) Good examples would be: INXS's "The Swing" U2's "Achtung Baby" Nine Inch Nails's "Pretty Hate Machine" David Bowie's "Low" (but only the first side) All these IMO are great albums that explored new musical grounds, while managing to retain catchy hooks, normal song structures, etc. I'm desperately trying to find more, as these seem to be a rare breed! Thanks for any help you can provide.
