Well...there you go...at least you know what you'll be doing.

Just think: I'll be HURTIN' that morning and you won't ;) My little ones aren't so little anymore.

My husband and I babysat everyone's children FOR YEARS up until last year...never went out on the Eve...so I'm really looking foward to this!

There is no law that makes you close the bar/club at a certain time. Even if there is one (which nobody is aware of), nobody will tell you anything as long as you don't bother the neighbours or make too much noise outside the place.

I remember when I worked at a club a few years ago, we left the place at 10 in the morning. We almost went blind cause we didn't have our sunglasses lol

Clubbing always starts late here.

The Government usually relaxes the drinking time regulations on big events like New Years. I guess the same this year. I haven't heard any different.

So drinking to the early hours. Although not 6am!

At midnight we will all run out into the streets and start frantically txting everyone in our phonebooks. Only looking up from our mobiles for the strange people who think of wishing the people around them a happy new year.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
