Thanks

I forwarded it to my son, who is the system engineer over here (and at his work as well)

He is moving out right now :par-taaay: , and now he has to change his attitude.

He used to say: 'leave it to me, mum, I will fix it for you, that's faster' :wha':

Now he has to explain it all in a short notice. I was a Crack on the Mac, for several years ago, but since we had this Windows machine, I hardly know which cord is what. And, another example: after SP2 I had no sound using MSN, it apeared there are 6 ways to lower the volume!!!!!

On a Mac only 2: hardware and software!

I will have a hard time, the next few months when I am on my own!!

My husband is no help at all, he is the kind that shouts :shootin: and swears alternatingFU at his PC and if a command does not work, he hits the key again, but this time harder........ He is the one, who asked: 'where is the any key?'

You pray for me???? :wha':

Yes, I know what she means.

No need to tell me anymore, but

everytime my PC does 'strange things', and I ask my son what to do

the first thing he asks is:

'have you re-started yet??'

99% of the problems are solved without any efford, just by restarting your PC.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
