Planet Of Death

Nobody has anything to lose
Death is right around the corner
For everybody alive
Even those yet to be born

Planet Of Death
Whirling through space
Cemetery around our star
Horrible place
Planet Of Death
Bones of the dead
Mortuary around the sun
A fossil bed

Maturing like an apple or orange
Until we just shrivel down
Have you purchased a gravestone?
Reserved your place in the ground?

Planet Of Death
Whirling through space
Cemetery around our star
Horrible place
Planet Of Death
Bones of the dead
Mortuary around the sun
A fossil bed

Bridge:
Woody Allen says
Sex and death
Are all he believes in
All there really is

Even the dog you worship will die
Doesn't matter how cute he was
He's just another death form
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust

Planet Of Death
Whirling through space
Cemetery around our star
Horrible place
Planet Of Death
Bones of the dead
Mortuary around the sun
A fossil bed

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
