Still Trying To Be Elvis

Up on the stage
In a karaoke bar
In my own mind
I'm a big star
Singing those songs
Like I never grew up
Love me tender
I'm all shook up

Still Trying To Be Elvis
Make the women swoon
It's now or never
Gotta get a white suit
Still Trying To Be Elvis
Now don't be cruel
Just hold your tongue
If you think I'm a fool

Down on the floor
It's all push and shove
I'm your teddy bear
Hunk of burning love
Kissing cousins
All I wanna do
I'll do anything
For one night with you

Still Trying To Be Elvis
Make the women swoon
It's now or never
Gotta get a white suit
Still Trying To Be Elvis
Now don't be cruel
Just hold your tongue
If you think I'm a fool

That's alright, mama
I'm doing my thing
In my mind
I'm the king

Still Trying To Be Elvis
Make the women swoon
It's now or never
Gotta get a white suit
Still Trying To Be Elvis
Now don't be cruel
Just hold your tongue
If you think I'm a fool

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
