The Thanksgiving holiday is right around the corner, and while most of us can’t wait to stuff ourselves with turkey, collard greens, sweet potato pie and all the fixings, the unfortunate and sad reality is that many families do not have the luxury or the means to enjoy a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day. This holiday season, By Any Means, a full service marketing firm, is out to spread holiday cheer and most importantly holiday food through their second annual charity initiative, “By Any Meals: A 5 Borough Food Drive."

With our help, the program hopes to raise enough money and collect enough non-perishable food goods to feed at least 1,500 New Yorkers on Thanksgiving Day.

This year the grassroots initiative has garnered the support of top chefs in the game like Chef Roble and Hood Chef, who urge us to join their movement to help a cause near and dear to their heats. With our donations and contributions using Indigogo, an innovative crowd funding platform, not only will New Yorkers have a plate of hot food for Thanksgiving, but they’ll have it delivered by culinary masterminds. Now that’s something to be proud of and thankful for.

If you’re interested in helping feed hungry New Yorkers this holiday season, be sure to DONATE to By Any Meals here.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
