I would expect this to strike some chords with Kenny Rogers fans. Although his older stuff with First Edition is getting more common, here is an opportunity to get a look at where Rogers is coming from. Lacking the orchestra of some of his later work, these songs reveal the raw power of his voice and his love for sharing it. Essential album for Rogers fans and extremely useful for people who want to check him out for the first time.
