Let Me Love You

This is a duet. I mean to record it with a girl named Kaylan and a guy named Adam. They will begin with the chorus. Harmonizing! Kaylan will sing the first verse. Adam will sing the second. I want it big, like the Jason Aldean/Kelly Clarkson duet.

I went to ascap and did a work tape.

LET ME LOVE YOU

Let Me Love You
Let me try
You know I want you
I can't lie
Let me kiss you
Hold you tight
Let Me Love You
Tonight

I've been alone so long
I've paid some dues
The darkest hours are gone
I'm shaking off the blues
Sometimes it seems
Everyone's for themselves
It makes it hard
To love someone else

Let Me Love You
Let me try
You know I want you
I can't lie
Let me kiss you
Hold you tight
Let me love you
Tonight

We've been around the block
We've played the game
The best is yet to come
Let me be your man
We're both looking for
Someone to care
Let's get our share

Let Me Love You
Let me try
You know I want you
I can't lie
Let me kiss you
Hold you tight
Let Me Love You
Tonight
Let Me Love You
If it's alright

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
