thank you, method, my sentiments exactly. i showed my BF and he goes 'think of how little that shit would buy us in NYC' and that's the truth. we couldn't even afford to go to the fucking movies there (would buy used vids at blockbuster). and i'm thinking of people in africa and asia who don't have shit.

I put in that my family makes around 32,000 US a year...that's not much really and here is what it said.

You are in the top 5.99% richest people in the world.

There are 5,640,257,352 people poorer than you.

How do you feel about that? A bit richer we hope. Please consider donating just a small amount to help some of the poorest people in the world. Many of their lives could be improved dramatically or even saved if you donate just one hour's salary (approx $22.22)

Oh, and in case you’re interested you are the 359,742,648 richest person in the world.

Not alot of money but it's better than 1200 a year....and I don't spend nothing on nothing LOL.

The year has 2 basic seasons: In Season and Out of Season.

In Season has many sub catagories depending on your location. These include, but are not limited to: Dove, Deer, Duck, Rabbit, Squirrel, Quail and so on.

Out of Season requires stealth mode to hunt these same animals.

Some creatures have no season and are not to be hunted. Whooping Crane and Bald Eagles are examples.

Other creatures are in season year round. Cats, Dogs, Rats and Liberals are among this group.

Didn't see this before. My income fluctates quite a bit being in the entertainment industry. Highest I've been is You're in the TOP 0.36%...I don't want to discuss the other years :)

I'm at about .95%. I haven't had my taxes figured yet but I know my wife is a little better off than myself. I guess I shouldn't have declined so much overtime.

I don't put much into those calculations since the cost of living varies greatly from one area to another.

If they had a "gun and ammo" calculator I figger I would be in the top 1% and that is what is really important. It's not how much money you make, it's how much you have invested in firepower.

Because it looks strictly at income and not at costs.

If you factor in my debt and bills there are few people in Africa doing worse month to month. A dollar a day is more than losing ground by a hundred a month.

By the way, I'm just barely in the top 15%.

Shawn, you are right. That's basically what I said earlier. People retire from here with decent income so they move to Mexico and they are rich. They can afford to have a much, much better lifestyle there on the same income.

I ain't movin'.

Bear, I know what you mean. You make a little more than I do and I seem to just get by. I drive an old car and wear funky old clothes. :dunno:

Of course if I won the lottery I would still drive an old car and wear funky clothes.

My wife makes quite a bit more than I do and she still looks funky too.

If I won the lottery I would have better (read "more") firepower however.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
