I thought, "I'm the f-ing wildlife"
Better watch out for me
I'm driving drunk tonight

Got my baby by my side
She's face down on my lap
She knows what I like
And sure does it right

Wildlife
Cruising I-70 ninety miles an hour
Leaving those semis
In the rearview mirror

Wildlife
Dodging traffic like a bat outta hell
Chasing Jack Daniels
With another beer

Blue light flashing in the mirror
A siren so loud, it hurts my ears
Those handcuffs sure hurt my wrists
As I live out my deepest fears

Don't matter, I'll be free tonight
Baby's daddy's the Chief of Police
I'll lay low for a couple weeks
Then again disturb the peace

Wildlife
Cruising I-70 ninety miles an hour
Leaving those semis
In the rearview mirror
Wildlife
Dodging traffic like a bat outta hell
Chasing Jack Daniels
With another beer

Bridge:
My baby gets wild
When we make love
She likes living dangerously
Never gets enough

Guitar
Chorus

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
