A Home Theater That Rattles the Windows Without Breaking the Bank

Turning a television into a home theater system generally involves adding an amplifier, five speakers and a subwoofer for rumbling bass. High-end systems made up of separate components can range from $800 to the six figures. But manufacturers like Sony, Panasonic and RCA have bundled these components into consumer-friendly systems with the uninviting moniker "home theater in a box."

yes, all electronics are way cheaper now. Super markets sell home cinemas now. "Buy milk and get a home cinema free!"
