Old School

I grew up with Elvis
Classic America
Got into The Beatles
Had a crush on Agnetha

I still follow baseball
Played when I was a kid
We had a family team
Couldn't field, couldn't hit

Old School
That's what I am
Like it or not
Those were the days
Chevys and Fords
Black & white TV
Baby Boomers rule
Old School

I saw John Kennedy
The fall of 62
I remember the day
Neil walked on the moon

I got my draft papers
Right after Woodstock
Call me a father figure
Don't call me grandpa

Old School
That's what I am
Like it or not
Those were the days
Chevys and Fords
Black & white TV
Baby Boomers rule
Old School

Now my taste in women
Hasn't changed one bit
I still like em young
I still like em fit

Baby, I'm in love with you
Say you'll be my girl
I'm old but I'm rich
We'll travel the world

Old School
That's what I am
Like it or not
Those were the days
Chevys and Fords
Black & white TV
Baby Boomers rule
Old School

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
