LOS ANGELES (AFP) - The "Terminator" will be back next year, but will California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger reprise the movie role that made him a superstar?

Warner Bros. studios has given the green light for "Terminator 4" to begin production next year, despite doubts that the movie star turned politician will be free to take on more enemies, Daily Variety reported.

After a year in development, the latest film in the hit movie franchise will return under the direction of "Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines" director Jonathan Mostow, the industry daily said.

Studio bosses have held talks with the Austrian-born governor of the state over his availability for the film, the daily said.

"Discussions have already occurred for him to return for an encore, but the likelihood is that it would be in a limited role," Variety said, adding that the film would likely star a new model of killer cyborg to replace the man now dubbed the "Govern-ator."

Could you imagine however, if Bush was killed or unable to be president?

That would mean the super villain Dick "Fuck You" Cheney (who has a 40s gangster/evil war lord disposition and attitude) will become dictato.....er, I mean president.

Wow, should be an interesting 4 years, as Kerry is too weak minded and of bland character to actually win the presidential race.

It's too bad really. The U.S. system of government is in decline, especially for someone like me who isn’t a redneck or a borderline socialist (like Hillary Clinton who wishes to make me responsible for societies “problems”, even though I have no control over another individual due to the obvious fucking fact that we are separated by freedom and civil liberty, that dumb fucking bitch).

As you can see, I seethe with anger, but for good reason. There are no politicians which represent my mindset; hell, not even close.

I can’t vote for president this year, I just can’t. I now KNOW Kerry is fucked with a capital Q, so I wont even bother to vote for him just to get Bush out of office (and I live in NY, so my vote is meaningless because Kerry is going to win NY. Fuck the Electoral College).

Perhaps on election day, I’ll just burn things. It’ll be much more representative of the times we live in.

On Election Day, just demand to know why I’m not on the ballot for president.

If someone appears not to understand, yell and make a scene. Throw things if you have to.

We must all send a message..............um.........................about something, I forget what.

Id vote for you Ken. But Im curious as to why you think Kerry and Hillary are so evil. I find them to be a lot more moderate than you do...

Like I said, Hillary is the "stop thinking about the individual and start thinking about society", and the "it takes a village" kind of moron.

Wake up dumb ass; this is the United States with a capitalist system with freedoms that separate boundary lines and property. You can't intervene in someone's situation legally. I didn't read her shitty ass waste of time she calls a "book", but a few excerpts as well as the two comments I listed (one of which I think is from the book, and the other I think is not) piss me off all over the place.

Now, on to the other part…….

I don't think Kerry is really all that evil, just averagely evil like every other major politician (just from a different angle). He’s a lot better than Bush on the whole “IQ” level and would probably not be a wing extremist bent on pushing narrow specialized agendas (he’ll still push agendas, just not as severely as Bush).

All I’m saying is that he doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the presidential election, and the Electoral College renders my vote useless (he'll win NY State).

I'll still vote local, but since Kerry is still not a candidate “I” could support fully (ignoring Bush for a second), I’m resolved to hold true to myself from now on and not resort to a “well, if I vote for this douche bag, at least the bigger douche bag is gone” mentality. All that does is fuel the fire of a corrupt two party system, which we have now.

Ken: 'Hillary is the "stop thinking about the individual and start thinking about society", and the "it takes a village" kind of moron.'

*yep, me too. call me a socialist, like i give a fuck.

what a shock when i went to the doctor for the first time here: i've never gotten the level of personal attention and LOW FUCKIN PRICES i've gotten in germany (of all places!) and holland and hardly any waiting time. in the states i paid through the nose for a 5 second 'visit' w/any doctor and waited fuckin hours to see them. for example, on monday i saw two doctors in bonn: one for a visit (ten Euro) and one to renew a prescription: i dint have an app't, called her monday morning and walked in to her office monday afternoon, the scrip was waiting for me at the front desk and i was out the door in less than a minute, then took off for the nearest Apotheke to cash it in.

so many people from all over have asked me the same damn question: 'how come your country is so wealthy and there are people who can't afford medical care and health insurance?'

i have no idea what the fuck to tell them apart from 'well, that's capitalism for you.'

sorry and no offence to anyone in the states, but that's my experience and i find it much much better over here. personally, when my mother asks when i'm coming back to NYC, i always tell her 'when i can afford to buy health insurance.'

Ok, let's forget the "political" labels.

I think she's an asshole.

All I’m saying is that ***SOME*** of her ideals don't rationally fit into the current system of government we have (specifically the ones I mentioned).

I citied those specific examples because they underhandedly point to making me (and others) responsible for things I/we either have no control over, or things I/we don't rationally deserve to have to "clean up" so to speak.

I'm not responsible for crack heads (or anyone else's fuck ups, seeing as how few in this world would help me if I fucked up); I’m not responsible for other people's parenting.

Fuck that.

I would like to see national health care.......

Also, saying that "the country" is "wealthy" is incorrect. It's the corporations in the U.S. that are making the money. The U.S. itself is in debt.

We import almost everything, and make very little. We're a nation of consumers.

And meanwhile, more and more jobs are outsourced, in order to take advantage of people in other countries (exploitation).

here in england, the NHS (natl health something) was so convoluted and expensive (for me, an outsider) that it's cheaper to go back to germany to see my doctor (even including the airfare).

i totally agree w/you about corporations which have more rights and are more protected tax-wise than ordinary citizens. and also, as put out in the films '12 monkeys' and 'fight club' (by the brad pitt character in both films) if you're not consuming, you're not a good amerikan.

regarding the outsourcing, it's just amazing to me...i kind of wish people would take to the streets in protest but haven't really thought it through enough to anticipate the unintended consequences of that (apart from the rioting and hurt which would undoubtedly ensue). i mean, that's what i would like to do, demonstrate displeasure on a mass scale (but now i'm thinking of what happened at kent state, ancient history to most).

what's this fuckin topic about again? oh, the governator. fuck him and the kennedy he rode in on. (that beast maria shriver)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
