At the end of its summer recess, the Manoel Theatre will be reopening its doors to the public with two consecutive concerts to be held at the Sala Isouard on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16 September at 8.00pm.

The protagonists on this occasion will be The Kiraly Ensemble, an excitingly new group consisting of four young musicians from different countries who came together at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest where they have worked together as a chamber ensemble throughout the past scholastic year with various Hungarian professors, including renowned pianists and members of the famous Bartok String Quartet. Although the Kiraly Ensemble have performed in Budapest on various occasions, their performances in Malta will mark their official debut as an ensemble. Their main sponsors are Tata Motors and Vivaldi Hotel Operations Ltd.

Composed of Brazilian Roberta Arruda (violin), Japanese Aine Suzuki (violin/viola), German Timo Reikowski (violoncello) and Maltese Maria Blanco (piano), the Ensemble will be joined by Roberta Attard (violin) for the piano quintet formation in their interpretation of Charles Camilleri's "Requiem for the Massacred".

Tickets for the concerts by the Kiraly Ensemble at the Sala Isouard are to be sold at Lm5, with block tickets for both concerts at Lm8. Student tickets are to be sold at a special price of Lm3.50.
