The new season of "Love & Hip Hop" just kicked off, but already there seems to be controversy off-camera. Mandeecees Harris, who fans met this week as the longtime love interest of Yandy Smith, is facing a sexual assault trial in New Jersey for allegedly performing various sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl.

According to reports from NorthJersey.com via HHW prosecutors allege Harris "asked for and received oral sex from the girl and fondled her on various occasions between September 2009 and April 2010. He was arrested later that year and charged with aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison."

Yandy was originally part of season one of "Love & Hip Hop" as Jim Jones' manager, but this season she's branched out on her own and recently had a child with Harris.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
