Dave Matthews Putting on Free Concert

davemathewsband.JPG SAN FRANCISCO - The Dave Matthews Band is putting on a free concert in Golden Gate Park to benefit several San Francisco Bay area charities.

A general admission ticket will be required to attend the Sept. 12 free concert at the Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park, according to a statement placed in the band's official Web site.

Tickets for the general public will be available through the band's Web site, www.davematthewsband.com, beginning July 24.

i found this contest on http://www.budweiser.com/1 (i think bud is putting on the concert and thats why its on the website) to win a trip to san fran to see DMB in their golden gate park concert. the concert looks to be something really special and to win tix would be awesome.

The Dave Matthews band is playing this huge concert, and i mean huge, in september in SF's golden gate park and on http://www.budweiser.com/1 you can win tix to go see the show! budweiser is putting the concert on and thats why its on their site. but anyway though matthews fans would love this. check it out!

Just to update my last post, the contest to win tix and a trip to see dave matthews in concert in san fran is now closed and all the free tix are gone BUT you can still go to the show buy purhasing special VIP tickets which come with added benefits like great seats and even a BBQ! you can check out http://www.budweiser.com/1 for info on buying tix. this concert will rule and dave fans should try anyway possible to get there.

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
