Full sized computer in one hand?

I saw this on CNET just browsing around. It's a full desktop computer (1ghz no less!) that fits in your hand (14oz!!) I'd definately buy one if it lives up to the hype and does everything they say it does. The link is for streaming video. You'll need either Windows Media Player or Real Player installed to view the video.

Here's another link to a few pictures and the specs of it:

There's also another video there which shows a little more.

Pretty nifty - hard to type on that keyboard, but thats the only defect I saw. I will wait until the price comes down, but I imagine everyone will have these soon. I thought the babe's car looked kinda cool, too - I wonder if I can get all three in a package deal

On second peek, there is no good reason why the hdd and ram are as low as they are. They might have got some deal on components, but the future models will probably mirror the advancing world of desktops.

I'm always the one with the newest coolest geek toys on the block. I'm willing to spend anything just to see if the hype is real. So expect me to spend the benjamins on this toy as soon as it's available to the public.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
