Weird post spacing on BK

I've noticed while I've posted here that I sometimes don't get accurate word and line spacing when posting.

What I mean by this is when I post new topics and indent my sentences I end up with no indenting and up to five additional blank lines in my post.

I've noticed the indenting often doesn't want to indent at all.

Is this a forum bug or something?

Yeah, I see what you mean. Even my last attempt only shows one space between letters when it should be @ 6 each.

EDIT: Hmmm... it doesn't appear correctly when I post it in the thread view, but when I go back to edit my post, it's still the way I typed it.

Lemme try something:

let's see if this works...

EDIT #2: Okay, that's it. It's the way the board parses and auto-corrects text on the threads. I'll look into this.

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday.       But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020."
