wow!! ... first off, i just loved the pic of the painting on the welcome page of the angels of venice ...

and as for nothing else matters, that has always been one of the few metalica songs that i have loved from the first time i have heard it ... and to hear it played like this, soooo, nice ...

i, also, really loved hearing pachelbel's canon ... someone just walked by my desk as it was playing, and said, ooh, that is so pretty ... wish i could have downloaded those from the link like o magnum mysterium - laurdisen ... me gonna go on the prowl, me thinks ... hehe

thanks for posting them ...

: )

:o 39MB !! dial up would blow up!!

it's too big it's too big ... no fair ... waaaaaaaaaah :reallymad:

Start it at bedtime, and let it d/l over night. It's real nice. On dial-up it should only take about 4 hours. I know it's a pain in the ass. I was on dial-up for about 3 years.

2 minutes and 15 sec to d/l. I love dsl.......when it works.

I hate the clueless tech support from India.

It is a cool video. Not your standard redneck tune. I wonder if they did a cover of Poke Salad Annie? :D

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
