"Love & Hip Hop" is heading down to Atlanta for season 3, and while one trailer featuring the new cast was already released earlier this week, the second trailer has arrived. Check out the footage above and  details about the new castmembers after the jump. It's bound to be an interesting season.

Set in Atlanta this go around, the latest chapter includes Mimi Faust (girlfriend of Grammy Award-winning producer Stevie J. most known for his work with artists like Diddy and Mariah Carey), rappers Rasheeda and Joseline, Erica Dixon (girlfriend of rapper Lil' Scrappy) and Scrappy's mother Momma Dee. Rounding out the cast are singers K Michelle and Karlie Redd.

From the new trailer, expect plenty of throw downs, cat fights and struggles as the women journey to make their hip-hop dreams come true. Similar NYC, the themes of fortune, fame and family run deep through the 10-episode spin-off.

Fans on Twitter have been buzzing about the new installment for several weeks now and opinions have been mixed. "Just wasted a precious minute of my life watching the Love and HipHop Atlanta trailer" tweeted one, "RATCHET" said another while one pleaded "Dear @VH1: Please, please PLEASE don't put Love & Hip HopAtlanta on the air. Let's just say u did, and don't. Sincerely, AtlantaResident". Perhaps the most fitting synopsis was, ""Twitter gon have a field day June 18th," the date of the premiere.

How will these ladies compare to their New York counterparts? Will Rasheeda outshine Somaya Reece? How will Momma Dee's lexicon compare to Mama Jones'? Will Lil' Scrappy and Stevie J. get involved in the drama? Only time will tell. Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta premieres Monday June 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
