Beyonce Launches Personal Tumblr, Sends First Tweet

Beyonce launched her own Tumblr account today. Dedicated to her fans, the very personal page showcases a myriad of personal photos and insider moments from the superstar’s life and travels, including snapshots cuddling with husband Jay-Z, vacationing with sister Solange Knowles and goofing off with nephew Juelz. 

Beyonce Says Blue Ivy Looks Just Like Jay-Z

A rare glimpse into a usually private personality, there’s even a video in which a visibly pregnant Beyonce walks by a Blue Ivy tree and references how fitting it is (Her daughter Blue Ivy was born earlier this year. Bee writes on the page, “this is my life, today, over the years-through my eyes. My family, my travels, my love. This is where I share with you, This will continue to grow as I do."

The “Love On Top” singer also took to social media and sent her very first tweet earlier today, “Hey World, It's B! I'm so excited to invite you to my new beyonce.com - we've been working hard, and it's finally ready for you XO."

A Timeline Of Jay-Z and Beyonce's Relationship

Yesterday marked Beyonce and husband Jay-Z’s fourth wedding anniversary, although their relationship spans at least a decade. Fans remember the pair heating up the small screen in their music video for “Bonnie & Clyde” in 2002 as well as Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” in 2003. They officially tied the knot in a private ceremy in NYC on April 4, 2008. Jay visited jeweler to the stars, Jacob The Jeweler, yesterday to mark the occasion in NYC.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
