On Tuesday (March 19) Beyonce hit the town with a few ladies other than baby Blue. The new mom attended the 2012 Obama Fundraiser at The Greenwich Hotel in New York City's trendy Tribeca neighborhood with her mother Tina Knowles, mother-in-law Gloria Carter, and cousin Angie Beyince in tow. Bey brought a little bit of Blue Ivy with her to the event wearing a stunning Victoria Beckham navy blue dress with matching navy Nicolas Kirkwood sandals, a Lanvin eagle necklace, and Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings.

Beyonce Says Blue Ivy Looks Just Like Jay-Z

The event featured an appearance from First Lady Michelle Obama herself, with whom Beyonce worked with last year on the Lets Move Campaign supporting children’s physical fitness in schools across the country. Co-hosted by A-listers Whoopi Goldberg, Star Jones, Angela Basset, and Beyonce’s mother Tina, the ticket to get into the cocktail event only cost a cool $5,000, or $25,000 if you also wanted a private meet-and-greet with Mrs. Obama.

Beyonce Performing In Atlantic City Over Memorial Day Weekend

Just two months after giving birth to Blue, Bey is gearing up to start performing again, announcing a three-night stint at the brand new Ovation Hall in Revel Resort, Atlantic City, New Jersey.

While her husband Jay has been performing occasionally throughout the past few months, including his two-night set at Carnegie Hall last month and a quick appearance at SXSW last weekend, B has been laying low to enjoy life as a new mother.

The Memorial Day weekend dates will mark Beyonce’s first return to the stage since 2011. The venue only holds 5,050 seats, but there literally is not a bad seat in the house as the hall was designed to have zero obstructed views throughout the space. Tickets for Beyonce in A.C. go on sale on April 6th at 10am, and we don’t predict them lasting very long!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
