And so the Rihanna Twitpic rampage continues. The 23-year-old singer has been enjoying some downtime after wrapping up her “Loud” world tour, and she’s been sharing her relaxing moments via photos. During her recent vacation in Hawaii, the paps snapped some pics of Rihanna lighting up, then she tweeted some photos of herself in a bikini, followed by some more photos of herself in bikini. The “We Found Love” singer is now back in L.A. and she just got some new ink work, one of which might include a Tupac-inspired “Thug Life” tattoo on her knuckles.

Early on Wednesday morning (January 25) Rihanna began a series of tweets about her current visit to the tattoo parlor. First, she was excited about running into actor Danny Trejo (“Look who’s in the #TATTOO parlor…Danny Trejo”) then she tweeted a photo of tattoo artist Mark Mahoney adding some new ink on her back (“Tat my f---in name on u girl so I know its real!!!!”)

All of this was totally normal, until she tweeted a picture of her knuckles with the words “Thug Life,” spelled out across her fingers, captioned with “All these bitches screaming that 2pac back.” Since the outline of the words look faint, we’d like to believe that this was only a “Thug Life” sketch and not an actual tattoo, but guess we’ll find out during her next Twitpic session.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
