This is getting silly

Spam is good fried to a golden brown. With cheese, on a hamburger bun!!

At first glance I thought that said "Spam is a good friend." My eyes are going all funny over here! And I'll bring all my shoes and glasses with me...

I just want to say if it weren't for Dude's personal invite pm'ing me over at ZP to clue me in on this cool little hang-out, I would never have known about this place.

So he's to blame not just for his own spam, but for all of mine too!! :rotfl:

The Spamminator Rules!

But one thing it also proves is that he's always been the backbone of BK...there was a time when only a handful of people were here trying to get this crop duster off the ground. One constant was Dude, who was making the only response in a whole lot of the threads just so the poster wouldn't be so disappointed about yet another story he cared about that apparently nobody else did. So consider that a lot of those 5000 posts were positive reinforcements for other members until better times came along.

I couldn't have said it better myself. If it hadn't been for all his positive reinforcements, then I probably would have never stayed. I hate to think how many others are in that same boat.. my guess is that it's a lot. I think it's obvious to us all that Dude is "good people" ... definitely a good shit in my book! I am not gay or nothin.... but...the Dude definitely deserves a little bit of ass kissing for all of his work here. :Here's to you: Thanks for your part in making this place as great as it is!

Thanx for the compliments, but after you get past the post numbers, the admins here--shawn, method, the beat and rb, spend a lot of time together with the mods and input from the members to get it right....And Kooper did as much with his 2500+ posts-- so if there is any credit, here's a tip of the hat to all of you...and i get another post!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
