don't know man but it happened. That's why it's called a bug. It's cool and all that it's a browser only thus much lighter than mozilla but the dl client doesn't work here. *Puts on his fanboy suit* Opera can be customised to work as a browser only and be much lighter than any browser you've ever work till now.

to tell you the truth, the last firefox was almost perfect except the download client.

That actually was a reason I stopped using firefox. I just hated the "download manager".

I switched back to normal Mozilla because I could actually see the progress of my downloads and choose each time where I wanted the files to be downloaded to.

I Googled Opera. I might try it. But what is the difference between the java and non-java versions? Which is the better of the two?

The java version of Opera includes Sun's "Java 2" package while the "non-java" edition doesn't.

If you want to look at and interact with web pages with java applets, then choose the "Java" version. You can download and install the non-java version and then download java at a later date if you desire to.

Sun's Java2 is not needed if you use IE, because chances are the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is already installed. This is only for IE, however.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
