Charlie Sheen Settles Up with Warner Bros. Over 'Two and a Half Men'

[/b]It's now official ...[b] [url="http://www.tmz.com/person/charlie-sheen/"]Charlie Sheen[/url][/b] and [b]Warner Bros.[/b] have settled their bitter "[b]Two & a Half Men[/b]" dispute.

A rep for WB released a statement claiming, "Warner Bros. Television, Chuck Lorre, and Charlie Sheen have resolved their dispute to the parties’ mutual satisfaction."

As TMZ reported ... [b][url="http://www.tmz.com/2011/09/19/charlie-sheen-settlement-warner-bros-two-and-a-half-men-100-million-dollars-two-and-a-half-men-syndication/"]Charlie will get $25 million[/url][/b] almost immediately, mostly for work he already performed and profits he has already earned.  And, as sources told us, Charlie will get around $100 million in profits from syndication of the show over the next 7 years.

Warner Bros. and Charlie have agreed to dismiss their mutual lawsuit against each other.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
