Lil Wayne And Drake Fans Rave Over "She Will"

As Lil Wayne continues to prep listeners for his upcoming Tha Carter IV album, the Young Money captain has unleashed yet another drop from his ninth studio record – this time with assistance from his Canadian brethren Drake who provides an insistent and memorable hook over the slow groove. Produced by T-Minus, Weezy goes in for another track devoted to the ladies although he and Drizzy take a particularly different path than what was found on the more syrupy “How To Love” single.

Dropping earlier this week, the silky groove features a subdued Wayne and Drake who both never overpower the backing track. Blazing its way throughout the Web, fans on social networking site Twitter have expressed overwhelming support for the new song and there are reports that this version of the track is actually a remix.

“After hearing "She Will" I would rather look forward to Lil Wayne n Drake collab album than listen to Jay and Kanye album Watch the Throne,” tweeted @Trav_AskHer. Super fan @MR_YMCMB added excitedly, “Wait till "Mainstream" hear ---> She Will by Lil Wayne and Drake.... Ooooooooo it's bout to blow the roof off the charts!!! #YMCMB.” Fan @KOTeargas tweeted simply, “Song of the day: Lil wayne ft Drake - She will....*in awe*.”

DJ Whoo Kid tweeted, “Played new Lil Wayne and Drake --- She Will ----> crazy!!!” continuing the growing sentiment that the new song is a smash. However, some fans weren’t wowed by the record. “That "She Will" song by Lil Wayne and Drake is garbage...” tweeted an unimpressed @ManSTFU whose tweet prompted a barrage of Lil Wayne supporters decrying his claim.

Rap Radar posted earlier today what is reported to be the original version of “She Will” which features the burly vocals of Maybach Music Group mogul Rick Ross. A DJ Scream audio drop in the middle of the song could be indication that the song will appear on an upcoming mixtape from the southern disc jockey.

Stayed tuned for me news surrounding Tha Carter IV before the album’s August 29 release.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
