More Than Friends

Okay, so what has four thumbs, had a #1 Hip-Hop single on iTunes Japan, produced and starred in an award-winning documentary, and did their first album completely in-house? These guys, and by these guys, I mean none other than Jas Mace and Marchitect of The 49ers. The Newark, Delaware natives have been making creative and independent sounds for awhile, harkening back all the way to their Outfits-member days in 1995. More recently the duo has been busy releasing their locally acclaimed Musaic project with standout cuts like More Than Friends. L.E.M.S takes the lead on a soulful melody that matches nicely with the topic of childhood friends growing up, together and apart over a lifetime. If you liked this bittersweet track, be sure to hop on over to iTunes and pick up a copy of their latest project, available for purchase now. As always, keep it locked to the Booth, because at this point we’re obviously more than friends. Right?

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
