Mixcloud's Celebration of Curation campaign ran throughout August and produced 31 incredibly diverse and original Cloudcasts spanning almost every genre. For me though the best one came courtesy of Whosampled.com who put together a mix that they claimed was a journey through the history of hip hop. With everyone from Jurassic 5 to The Moments and from Hieroglyphics to Bill Withers, this Cloudcast simply must be heard.

Give it a listen at http://i.mixcloud.com/CBDrm

Listening to classic tracks from bands like The Moments and realising where the likes of Jay Z got knicked those amzing tunes from has inspired to find out what other modern anthems are samples of earlier songs. I know there are loads out there but if you have any suggestions please let me know!
