The Sharereactor Archive

I was searching on Filemirrors for Sharereactor stuff and ran across a file with over 10,000 sharereactor links archived from Google. It obviously is a partial cache of the site before it closed.

From the .nfo in the archive:

Here it is. What it was left - in the cache of a Google. 11766 files in 158MB.  `

`    And a little bit modified to allow files to be linked among themselves.      `

`                            Plus a search function.                              `

`                            Plus a link translator.                              `

`                          Plus no annoying pop-ups.                              `

`                        Plus no annoying advertisements.                          `    `

`            Plus 10261 extracted ed2k links from files (sr-links.htm)

I checked it out and it still has some good links in it.

The file is a bit over 4mb zipped and expands to a lot larger.

You can get it from this thread or from

http://www.homepagez.com/esr832/Sharereact...hive_zipped.zip

And then again, maybe you can't get it from the thread itself. Despite having a 9.77mb file size limit for attachments, this board will not let me attach the 4mb file.

I clicked that link and it just took me to http://www.freehomepages.com/

Hmmm, when my browser prompts me to download the file.

I'll put it on another server and see if that helps.

By the way, this board evidently doesn't allow users to attach .zip files to posts. It wouldn't let me attach this file to the thread.

I'll check the MIME types for .zip files....

EDIT: Try it now... the zip attachment works.

EDIT 2: I even tried the link in Opera and I got a 404 error

I'll check permissions on everything within the next day or two... it just plainly appears to be the size of the attachment. I'm not positive but I believe php has a setting of 2mb for attachments ... I will find the code sometime this week to change it if I can.

I downloaded that 3.96 MB file in about 4 seconds thanks to my college lan lol ... 1.5 MB / second is what showed up on the IE progress bar.

Anyway here's the file:

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
