Where to start when it comes to Andrew Rosborough?

Should I begin by talking about his amazingly soulful, passionate voice?

Or perhaps it would be better to tell you about the mix within his music of acoustics and crunching urban-esqe beats?

Then again maybe it would get the point across a little better if I talked about the sheer diversity of styles he has to offer?

Or…….well, I could go on.

Point is I have recently come across this guy Andrew Rosborough and his album The Umbrella Parade and I can’t stop telling people about how great he is!

If you are at all into people like Jason Mraz or John Mayer then you will flip out over Andrew Rosborough for sure and even if you are not into those guys I am sure Andrew has something for you anyway.

He just has this knack for crafting incredible, passion-filled, hook-driven, pop rock that gets in your head and stays there, all the while communicating something altogether more meaningful than you find in your average song.

When you go out and get a copy of The Umbrella Parade you will put it in your stereo and marvel at what you are hearing and when it is done I can just guess whet your next move will be: call up your friends, get them to come over and play it through all over again so you can share the great news that is Andrew Rosborough.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
