i currently use spybot search and destroy but recently when its searching for stuff its running really slowly, even when nothing esle is running at the time.

Also wen using something like regedit, how do i kno which files are still used by other programs?

I had the same problem with spybot... so I searched and destroyed it.

that ad-ware 6 works fine tho...but spybot picks up stuff that ad ware doesnt...and i recently found a dailer trying to dial out on meh machine

I know spybot is getting slower and slower by the version but I have no problem with that. It takes 4 minutes to finish.

I use regcleaner and I delete whatever is shown after the search and never had a problem

i left spybot for about 30 mins last time and it was no where near done..

method, is it the jv16 reg cleaner you are refering too?

I used to have that but now I have regcleaner.

30 mins?????? Something is wrong man. It takes 4 mins and some secs for me

well i ran a registry clean thing with the jv16 pwoer tool program and its found about 2000 files that dont exist, useless file extension, useless empty key, obselete software entry, some are ignore because of certain words

without sounding like to much a dunst...it is safe to delete these..right?

I always delete them and no problem. Some have problems but there is a backup so you could reverse that

      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020."
