Three years after Microsoft introduced the bug-ridden and poorly received Windows Vista to the world, Microsoft launches Windows 7 today knowing full well that another disaster like Vista could spell curtains for the once indomitable software giant.

I am still waiting for Windows 7, pirated edition. Until then, I will keep running Windows XP Pro, pirated edition.

i`m running windoze 7 but i`ve got the " pirated edition" xp model as well Red and i use it quite a bit....i`ve got a truckload of tweaked XP builds..they all work too.. :lol:

Somehow, it just wouldn't seem right to pirate music on a computer with a paid for operating system or downloader. I have my standards you know. :lol:

They are very low but I have them. :thumbsup:

Well Red, I have a paid for version of XP. But only because it came with my computer.

I have never bought a computer. I just buy parts and put one together or have someone else put it together. My son won't mow the grass but he is first class at assembling a computer. :thumbsup:

Assembly requires installing pirated operating system. :lol:

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
