Here is some info on the band:

“Love is our life’s greatest gift and our greatest contribution to one another. The most powerful thing we can do is live to give love” claims Micheal Medlin, lead singer and founder of the Huntington Beach-based band Humanlab. This powerful truth and overwhelmingly positive message serve as a mantra for the band and their music. Originally in a rock-based band, Medlin awoke one day with an epiphany that love is divine and that this is the opportunity to express, feel, and share love through music, so rather than write songs about life’s problems, he realized the need to write about the solutions to these problems. Thus, he formed organic Humanlab with friends Marco Forcone, Mirium Folk, Chad Benekos, and Billy Fuller. In just seven months, the band has made great leaps. They’ve landed famed manager John Greenberg of Union Entertainment Group (Nickelback, Steven Tyler, Candlebox, etc.), played and recorded with music veteran Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters, The Wallflowers, etc.), performed onstage with the likes of Steel Pulse, been nominated for the OC Music Awards, and performed in front of hundreds of people. They are currently releasing their first EP entitled The Love EP, an independent recording written, mixed, produced, and recorded in a private studio in Huntington Beach, featuring such favorites as “Live Well Love Much” and “Praises.” Intent on reaching as many people as possible and playing their music for different crowds, Humanlab will be touring the coast this summer, visiting various beach communities to play songs from their EP and express love and happiness through their music. They also plan to do as much writing and recording as possible in an effort to release their full-length debut in the near future. Peace! HumanLab.
