Post-Talking Heads, David Byrne has gone wherever his overactive imagination has taken him: world music, film soundtrack collaborations alongside Mogwai and Belle And Sebastian, even dabbling in Balearica with X-Press 2.

This is another excellent album from Byrne.

I liked it on first play.... and it's growing on me more with each repeat... there are a couple of surprises in track 3. Au Fond Du Temple Saint and 14. Uni Di Felice, Eterea which take an almost operatic approach. That wasn't what I would have expected but it sounds good to me... even with David Byrne's less than perfect quirky vocals in places, but then again.... the less than perfect quirky vocals is one of the things I like about David Byrne.

Great album... thanks for bumping this one DAIC... I'd forgot to check it out when method originally posted. :good job:

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
