Britney Spears pulled off a successful comeback after a high-profile meltdown, and pulled out all the stops before a sell-out crowd of 16,400 to launch her much-anticipated world tour..

On stage, the launch of her 44-concert tour, which heads to Britain in June, was heavy on spectacle and was met with wild applause and cheers. Spears looked fit and dazzling dressed as a ringmaster as she performed more than a dozen songs in a parade of skimpy costumes.

Britney lip-syncs, fans don't care....

The crowd erupted when Spears appeared onstage at 9.20pm and didn't stop screaming until her encore performance of Womanizer 90 minutes later......The pop star descended from the ceiling of the New Orleans Arena dressed as a ringmaster to perform the title track of her album Circus....

That's the trouble with 'studio artists'. They don't really have any talent. They just manipulate their meager skills in the studio to make it sound like they do.

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
